Electric Car FAQ & Answers — UK Edition

If, like me, you charge up your vehicle in public places, I am sure you will be familiar with what I am about to describe. I do my public charging at motorway service areas here in the UK. Updated Volkswagen E-Golf Now In UK Showrooms

In the UK, the all-electric car that looks almost identical to a regular Volkswagen Golf is doing well. The e-Golf is considered to be the electrified “centerpiece” of the German manufacturer’s choices. The e-Golf was originally presented in 2014. VW reports that in its latest guise, the zero-emission e-Golf has new battery technology. Gas2 earlier reported that the 2017 Volkswagen e-Golf goes 50% further on a single battery charge. The new e-Golf also has a host of connectivity features both in the car and in the customer’s hand via the ubiquitous smartphone — everything from warming or cooling the EV remotely to interesting security features. The price also makes the electrified VW a valuable find.

The Nissan Switch Scheme Is A Sublime Offer, An Affordable One

It is always time to stop air pollution. It is always time to drive zero-emissions electric vehicles. Nissan is yet again making that easier to do.

The LEAF is the UK’s best-selling electric car, and part of that is thanks to a starting price of just £100 a month. Add in the fuel and maintenance savings that come from a reliable LEAF, and the story gets even rosier.

That story got debunked less than a year later, as — even by 2006 standards — the Prius is a pretty clean car. As we head into the 2018 model year, however, have things gotten any better for electric cars? According to a new study in the UK, things have gotten twice as good!
