Italy’s Tiny EV Market Doubles Again — Over 10,000 Sales In 2019

It’s taken a long time, but Italy’s electric car market is finally starting to take off. Official figures released by UNRAE (the association of foreign carmakers in Italy) confirm 10,566 battery electric cars were sold in the Bel Paese in the 12 months of 2019, doubling 2018 sales and consolidating a trend of exponential growth started two years ago. But why should we care, when a much smaller car market such as Netherlands saw over 12,000 Tesla Model 3s being sold in the single month of December?

Electrify America Appreciation & Suggestions From A Frequent EV Charging Friend

I absolutely appreciate the network of charging stations that Electrify America is providing. I used the network almost exclusively in a 4 state drive with a short-range electric vehicle (EV). I  drove the 2015 BMW i3 from Electrify America charging station to charging station from deep in Florida to the Appalachians and then back. I had some problems, some small delays, but never had to leave any group of stations without a charge. Yet, I think my suggestions should be taken seriously.

MG Is Back From The Grave In Full Frontal Attack On European Car Market

After the bankruptcy of the iconic British carmaker MG/Rover, the MG brand name was sold to a Chinese company. A few years ago, it was bought by SAIC Motor Corp. (formerly Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation). This is about the brand name, the logo, the goodwill, claims to its history, the models, and intellectual property. The production facility was used for a few years, but ultimately all production was relocated to China.
