[UPDATED] CleanTechnica Webinar: Tesla Model 3 Interior Predictions, Preparations, & Prayers

We’re launching a new webinar series — “Electrifying” — and to squeeze some extra fun out of the Model 3 interior intrigue, we’re going to kick off with a chat about “Tesla Model 3 Interior Predictions, Preparations, & Prayers.” Our own Kyle Field, Roger Pressman of EV Annex (author of Getting Ready for Model 3), Viktor Irle of EV Volumes, and I will be chatting about what we’ve seen, what we expect, and what we dream for in our most optimistic moments.

Update: The webinar just ended. Thanks to those of you who joined us! In case you couldn’t join live, or even if you could, we will be publishing a recording of the video shortly. Keep your eyes peeled. Alternatively, you can watch it on Facebook!

When Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced in 2016 that the target for the start of Model 3 production was July 2017, he made it quite clear that he didn’t really expect production to start then — it was a target for suppliers in order to get production rolling by the end of 2017. Several months later, however, it seemed that July was still the target. Earlier this year, it started to seem that July could genuinely mark the start of Model 3 production. That was reiterated a couple of times by Elon on Twitter.

A leak we covered yesterday indicates that things have moved along better than expected and production is on the verge of beginning, with cars soon being stashed in the garage for a booming rollout in July.

We are still waiting for the July “Part 3” unveiling in order to learn more details about the Model 3. We have seen a few spy shots of the interior and gotten some responses from Elon via Twitter, but we’re still fairly in the dark about various matters, and there’s plenty of conjecture and debate about how the interior spy shots will compare to the production-version cars.

We’re launching a new webinar series — #Electrifying — and to squeeze some extra fun out of the Model 3 interior intrigue, we’re going to kick off with a chat about “Tesla Model 3 Interior Predictions, Preparations, & Prayers” tomorrow (Tuesday, June 20) at 10:00am NYC/Eastern time. Our own Kyle Field, Roger Pressman of EV Annex (author of Getting Ready for Model 3), Viktor Irle of EV Volumes, and I will be chatting about what we’ve seen, what we expect, and our most optimistic dreams for the Model 3 interior.

I don't like paywalls. You don't like paywalls. Who likes paywalls? Here at CleanTechnica, we implemented a limited paywall for a while, but it always felt wrong — and it was always tough to decide what we should put behind there. In theory, your most exclusive and best content goes behind a paywall. But then fewer people read it! We just don't like paywalls, and so we've decided to ditch ours. Unfortunately, the media business is still a tough, cut-throat business with tiny margins. It's a never-ending Olympic challenge to stay above water or even perhaps — gasp — grow. So ...
