It is now one year since we got our Tesla Model 3 Standard Range Plus (SR+), so it seemed like a good time for another review of the car.
As I recently shared, we just procured a Tesla Model 3. Being one of the most obsessive Tesla reporters and editors in the world, I didn’t expect to need the local Tesla store to make this happen. However, I had an impetus to walk in for help almost immediately, and then another. None of this is going to show up in my order — which I quickly placed online after the store visits and after finalizing a couple of other things — but it was important to me as a consumer.
If you’ve ever ridden in a Tesla vehicle featuring the company’s white vegan leather seats, you were surely impressed. They’re as soft as a cloud. They’re as white as Conan O’Brien’s grandma (I assume). Beyond the smooth surface, they’re so cushy you feel like you just sat on the marshmallow man. And on a cold day, they’ll toast your buns quicker than a looney roadrunner can climb a mountain.
Our friend Vincent regularly tweets about all things Tesla, and as a Model 3 owner, he also recently took to YouTube to show how the white seats in his Model 3 hold up to a glass of admittedly cheap red wine.
