We noticed our friend Vincent’s enthusiastic, joyful thoughts about his new Tesla Model 3, and also that he chose the oh so white vegan leather seats even though he has a kid. Generally, it would seem like white would be a more difficult challenge with young ones — as eating and growing and eating and growing and eating and growing are a sure constant inside or outside an EV. However, Tesla CEO Elon Musk previously recommended the white vegan leather option as the best seat material and said they hold up extremely well.

Also, who would not want that comforting softer white inside their Tesla? Those seats are so soft and luxurious. The white option would be my first choice as well. Also, thinking of kids, the expansive quality of the white leather might keep the children from feeling confined.

Especially useful for anyone concerned about the white getting dirty, Vincent shared a video from the YouTube channel Like Tesla in response to responses to his tweet. Rest assured, you will be able to clean those seats quite easily no matter what you or your child might drop.

Reading Vincent’s post reminded me of that limitlessness I wrote about after taking a Tesla Shuttle from Sarasota to Tampa Airport. It made me feel like I had entered Dr. Who’s TARDIS. The vegan white leather seats contributed to the comforting yet expansive ambiance of that Tesla ride. What a change that day’s stunningly beautiful clouds and the blue sky melting into the white seats were, and the smooth and silent ride, I wrote previously. The soft white seats contributed to a lightness of being that made the ride smoother and helped the time to fly by.
