Tesla had a record number of deliveries this quarter and left all of Wall Street scratching their heads. What remains to be seen is how that has affected Tesla financially. In addition, Tesla might let a few fun little details slip out and provide us with news we have not heard before.
Tesla has dropped its deposit fee from $2,500 to $100. Also important to note, the previous $1,000 and $2,500 deposit fees were fully refundable, but the $100 deposit is nonrefundable.

Among people closely following Tesla, it seems that the biggest topic of the past week has been biased and misleading coverage of Tesla, and electric vehicles or cleantech more generally, from major media outlets.
As part of my efforts to fight untrue Tesla myths, I recently engaged the Tesla community to create a Tesla Myth Busters FAQ page. I sent out a call to “assemble a full-fledged myth-busting campaign,” and people responded. We simply want to set the record straight regarding various Tesla myths. Thanks to the Tesla community who heeded my call, this first draft was produced in just four days, which is astonishing and wonderful when you think about it.
It’s been a bit of time since my last FUD article. When I wrote it, on March 11, a share of TSLA stock was worth $290.92 at close. Yesterday, Tesla closed at $210.34, or 72.3% of the value of my last article. I guess the good news if you are a shareholder is that it is up from June 3rd (when it closed at $178.97) by over 17%, which I suppose is great if you bought the stock at that exact moment.
