CleanTechnica & Teslanomics Collaborate For Livestream Of Tesla Q2 Shareholder Call
In the past few years, it seems that whenever Tesla [TSLA] has had really good financial results to share, the company has announced them and the shareholder Q&A call about a week early. To a lot of people’s surprise, the company caught everyone off guard this week and announced the date for the coming call “2 weeks early,” or at least one week earlier than expected, and the call is taking place one week earlier than it did in 2016, 2017, and 2018.
Though, to show you how much this varies and doesn’t necessarily mean anything, for the third quarter of 2018, Tesla announced the date for the financial results and analyst call just 2 days before the actual date of the call, and that was the record quarter that made the stock skyrocket and signaled the end of production hell. Since then, each quarterly call has been approximately one week earlier than in previous years.
In any case, this quarter’s call will take place on July 24th at 3:30 PM Pacific Time and marks the first Q2 call to be set this early.
To make it easier to listen to and follow the call, we have an extra special treat for you this time. If you watch our livestream, we will not only give you the audio of the call but also display the questions on screen (as accurately as we can transcribe the questions in the midst of the call), will show information about the people speaking (such as an analyst’s previous price targets for the stock/TSLA), and more.
We solved the few technical snafus we ran into last time and have some really cool new exciting features, as well as a big surprise (which you already read in the title). This quarter we are partnering with Teslanomics and the livestream will take place on the Teslanomics YouTube channel. Make sure to set a reminder before the call starts to be notified when we go live!
As for the new features, on the participant side, we will not only show who is talking and where they work but also information about them like whether they are bulls or bears, what the analyst’s stock price target is, how the stock price target has changed over time (line graph), relevant quotes, and for some analysts even what their delivery projections were.
We look forward to working with Ben Sullins and making sure the livestream helps improve the call experience for even more people than before! Chime in with your own thoughts or requests if you have any.
