The largest public EV fast charging plaza opened for business last week in Pasadena, California. It has 44 chargers in total — 24 Tesla Superchargers and 20 Tritium RT50/50kW fast chargers.
The largest EV fast charging station in the nation opened this week in Pasadena, California. The new station is comprised of 24 Tesla Superchargers and 20 of Tritium’s DC fast chargers.
Tesla and the City of Pasadena have entered into an agreement to build a new fast charging facility. Tesla will install 24 Superchargers on the top level of the Marengo parking garage and pay for the installation of the wiring needed to install another 20 Level 3 fast chargers. When complete, it will be the largest EV fast charging facility in the western US.
