Comparing GenZe Electric Bicycle & BMW i3 — Seriously

Of the three e-bicycles I have been traveling on, the GenZe offers the most in terms of exercise. Even on the full electric assist, I find myself pumping and circulating my blood more than with the others. I love all of them for their electric assist, but one of the reasons I prefer to bicycle is for exercise. I was getting too complacent and lacking that exercise, so I felt that along with preventing emissions, I could save my body and brain from more rapid degeneration.

GenZe Gives E-Bike Fleet Purpose-Built IoT Technology To Track Everything

The North America Mahindra group is already finding ways to deliver on the GenZe connected electric bikes (ebikes) and electric escooter (escooter) platform. It announced its GenZe Fleet e-Bike – the world’s only electric bicycle that is purpose-built for fleets with IoT technology, to help independent operators manage, launch, and maintain a rental, corporate, or shared e-Bike fleet.

GenZe E-Scooter Partners With Postmates

It’s not every day we hear of two companies offering a perfect marriage between a product and a service. In this case, though, we have an electric mobility platform with a highly praised electric scooter (e-scooter) and a delivery service solution that are together wrapped up as one. Genze and its e-scooter have just partnered with Postmate’s zero-emission transportation solutions for New York City and San Francisco.

Scoot’s New Mobility Operating System

Compared to the 10 million miles that the city’s vehicles travel every day, Scoot’s penetration into the San Francisco market is still relatively small. The 800 vehicles in its shared light electric vehicle (LEV) fleet have covered 2 million miles since 2012. Scoot CEO Michael Keating admitted in an email sent my way that, even combining their statistics with those of Zipcar, Bay Area Bikeshare, and Uber, you would probably not reach 5% of the total volume. But the market is growing fast.
