There are a lot of anonymous and a few non-anonymous anti-Tesla trolls on the internet. Whether they are connected to the oil industry, work for traditional auto companies, or simply picked up an odd prejudice against clean electric cars, they seem to be obsessed with Tesla articles, to the point that they have to comment on hundreds of those articles despite not liking the company. One of the favorite tools of the Tesla smear is calling people who recognize the benefits of Tesla vehicles “fanboys” (often with the implication that they’re idiots and have no good reason to be “fanboys”).

I was so glad to see this Motor Trend comparison of the top 3 sport sedans you can buy for around $50,000, and to see that it included the Tesla Model 3, I’m tired of reading reviews comparing the Model 3 to other electric cars. Everyone knows where it stands compared to other electric cars (it beats them for the most part, unless you have special requirements, like you need an SUV), but as well as Tesla has sold car over the last year, there are still places where people have no idea about Tesla or any electric car.

French EV Market Returns To Normal — April EV Sales Report

The French plug-in electric vehicle (PEV) market had 4,542 registrations in April, up 43% YoY, with a big portion of this growth coming from pure electric vehicles (BEVs). In total, BEVs scored 3,222 deliveries last month (+70%), with those all-electric cars representing 71% of all plug-in vehicle sales. This growth is even more significant when we realize that the overall vehicle market remained stagnant (+0.4%).
