Despite renewed promises of change, countless calls for the end of burning of fossil fuels, greener solutions for the transport, agriculture, mining, and energy industries and an increase in the number of electric vehicles on the market, global carbon figures have steadily increased.
Apparently, the UK’s SMMT (Society of Motor Manufacturers & Traders) can’t be bothered to input the Tesla Model 3’s name into their model database. Despite being the 3rd best selling passenger vehicle in the country last month, the Model 3 goes by the name/label “Other” in the top 10 ranking. I guess “no emissions” means you get no name.
I recently got this note from a newsletter I’m subscribed to: “Major media outlets have laid off more than 2,400 writers, editors, and support staff so far this year.” Indeed, it’s hard to grow, make money, publish great content, and keep people employed in the media business.
As part of my efforts to fight untrue Tesla myths, I recently engaged the Tesla community to create a Tesla Myth Busters FAQ page. I sent out a call to “assemble a full-fledged myth-busting campaign,” and people responded. We simply want to set the record straight regarding various Tesla myths. Thanks to the Tesla community who heeded my call, this first draft was produced in just four days, which is astonishing and wonderful when you think about it.
