CleanTechnica and EVObsession appreciate the innovative, including early EV adopters. Although we support the wonders of icons such as Elon Musk and his oh so Zen Teslas, we also value every other EV. Being an old organic farmer raised in innovative cultures of do-it-yourself lifestyles, I certainly value action-oriented individuals such as Sam Elliot. Sam is one of the doers not afraid of smaller range EVs to live the zero-emissions way of life. His innovative work helping him to use a smaller-range EV without that any range anxiety is one to be validated and cheered

TL;DR: It depends. Used Model 3's are either a great deal or a horrible one and I will present both cases and they are both potentially true. I depends on your situation

The most popular CleanTechnica articles of the past week included an original analysis of used Tesla Model 3s versus some of the used gasmobiles it competes against, a 380 mile used Nissan LEAF upgrade, a showering of love for Tesla's motors from a top auto industry expert, and much more

Ever browsed Tesla's used car listings? If so, you've surely noticed that the company wouldn't show you the actual car — just stock photos of the models. Now, at last, Tesla has added photos of the actual car being sold to some of its used vehicle listings

Most people haven't internalized the thought of their Teslas turning into money spinners instead of costs yet. When that starts sinking in, the data may change. But by that point, other cars probably will have full self-driving capabilities as well

Salespeople in car dealerships tend to push buyers towards gas-powered cars. Electric vehicles, in contrast, typically get low priority. But two former Tesla employees are setting out to change that with a new concept for an auto retailer that, instead, is setting out to embrace electric cars

Making electric vehicles affordable (and fun!) has been one of the foundational goals of Tesla and it has officially delivered on the goal of selling a $35,000 Tesla today.
There are a few used Model S on its website that are hovering around the $35,000 mark, with one that can be had for just a hair less ... as I write this

I've written a lot of articles about how great and affordable the Tesla Model 3 is, and I truly believe it has the potential to become one of the best selling cars of all time. Does that mean it is the right car for everyone? No — although it must be enjoyable for everyone to drive (or not drive, once the full-self-driving software is available), it just isn't the right car for everyone

In the coming months, with some timing and volume variations by region, you will be able to choose from many affordable, generous range, compelling, and all-around-capable EVs that are coming on to the market. Whilst the Tesla Model 3 Standard Range is arguably the most keenly anticipated of the bunch, all of these EVs are great cars, much better than any fossil fuel vehicle (FFV) equivalent

After 10 days with a used Nissan LEAF, I am pleased to say the car has exceeded my expectations in every way. I am now firmly committed to the electric car lifestyle.

Yesterday, two women engaged me in conversation asking questions about driving an all-electric car (since I drive a Nissan LEAF). They were mystified and then happily surprised when I alleviated a few misconceptions about electric vehicles. Most of the time when I'm in a discussion about EVs, it's because I'm charging and people walk up curious about them. In general, people seem to become much more interested once the facts on driving EVs become clear

Getting ready for our big EV charging conference in Warsaw in a few weeks, I've been interviewing leading EV charging execs and entrepreneurs who will be presenting, participating in roundtable discussions, and contributing to our white paper on EV charging guidelines for cities.
In this article, Lyubov Artemenko, COO of To-U and Strategic Planning Director of Tesla Club Ukraine, and Nazar Shymone-Davyda, CEO of To-U and owner of Tesla Club Ukraine, answer a handful of questions I toss their way. Well worth the read!

Used electric vehicles are an amazing value for the money right now. With the market for new EVs showing record sales, it's perhaps easy to forget that some of the best buys are on the used market. A press release reports that the overall used market for electric vehicles has increased 7% this year in the
