Our Sci-Fi Future: Elon Musk Inspires A Transportation Paradigm Shift (Infographic)

From horses to camels to railroads to Interstate highways, humans have always sought faster and more convenient ways to move around the planet. The next decade or so will see the sort of radical advances in transportation technology that used to take a century. Electric vehicles represent only one of several new and improved modes of transport that will be coming into widespread use.

The Boring Company Completes 1st Tunnel For Las Vegas Loop Project

This tunnel will connect the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center, where the annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is held, with the new 1.4 million square foot West Hall located in another part of its 200 acre campus. The trip by car on surface streets would normally take about 15 minutes. Elon Musk says that time will be slashed to around 1 minute using electrified vehicles that can travel at speeds of up to 155 mph underground.

He may or may not have been digging around in his pocket to find his bowtie, but even without it, Elon Musk’s jacket started looking a bit more like a Tuxedo when a shareholder from the audience dropped the last question of the day. The shareholder in question asked if Tesla had any plans to make an aquatic car, and Musk started giggling as if he had been waiting for this exact question all day.

A Not So Merry FUDmas — #Pravduh About #Tesla Report 16

This past week, the stock market kept panicking, everyone was looking at what is going on in the White House, and the most positive major thing that happened was Elon Musk unveiling the first Boring Company tunnel. At the same time, there was a lot of negative news regarding Tesla: 10 stories related to the stock market, 10 about a few people departing Tesla, 6 about the spontaneous combustion of a Tesla Model S (whose battery was apparently shot — like, with a gun), and the rest on various other topics.
