I recently drove some Tesla Shuttle passengers, Kathryn and her parents, on a trip from Calgary to Lethbridge. She has agreed to share some of her story with us.
Clearly, I’m a bit of a fan of Tesla shuttle and taxi services (I cofounded Tesla Shuttle), so I’m always happy to learn about new services like these. One such service is called eCarra. It offers chauffeured rides in certain regions of Texas right now, but I’m sure has an eye on expanding into other areas of the state and beyond.

Editor’s note: Aside from the points made in the article below, something that I think non-Tesla drivers can’t appreciate (until they experience it in a Tesla) is Tesla’s navigation system for road trips. The brilliant navigation system plans out your trip and tells you where to charge and for how long. I drove a Model S from Poland to Paris and back, and my conclusion after (or during) the trip was that this navigation system actually made the journey simpler and less stressful than it would have been in a gasoline or diesel vehicle.
My Polish friends (and I) have long been waiting for a Tesla service center in Poland. Thankfully, we now have one. Apparently as a birthday gift for my eldest daughter (who does love Tesla), the company announced via email the other day that a service center opened up in Warsaw.
