When I was buying a Tesla Model 3, a few article topics came to mind immediately. It wasn’t till the end of the process that I realized I really should write this one as well. There are different phases of the car buying process. Putting them all together, it is easily 10× more enjoyable to buy a Tesla than to buy a car (especially an electric car) from a conventional auto dealer.
We have the Tesla registration numbers for the first month of Q3, and again the rumor mill that Tesla sales tanked in Europe is in full gear. The narrative is that the delivery numbers (wrongly called sales) in July are just a fraction of the numbers in June.
Last night, Tesla added a tow hitch option for European customers. The capacity of the hitch is only 910 kilograms (about 2000 pounds), but it will be useful both for putting small bike and ski carriers onto the cars and for hauling small trailers.
