There is some exciting news for Tesla Model S and Model X owners whose cars were built prior to March 2018 (the infotainment system* in these cars has gone legacy by today’s Tesla standards) — Tesla is offering Model S and X owners the option to update their system to the latest and fastest yet version for a $2,500 fee.
We’ve had our Tesla Model 3 Standard Range Plus for about 5 months now. The car is a wonderful vehicle and I wouldn’t trade it for anything else. (Though, I frequently debate with myself if I’d prefer the Model 3 or the Model Y.)

Tesla’s V10 software update was teased recently thanks to a flood of information flowing from Elon Musk’s Twitter feed. According to Musk, the timeframe for V10 “depends on how release to owners with early access goes, but hopefully wide release by end of August.” Early access members have been given an early August release date.
