BP Gets Greener & Invests In Ultra-Fast Charging Company StoreDot

BP Ventures invests $20 million into an ultra-fast-charging battery developer called StoreDot that targets a battery for electric vehicles that charges in just 5 minutes. The goal is to commercialize a flash battery for mobile communication devices as early as 2019 followed by an EV battery. Daimler Shows Off Fuso eCanter Electric Truck, Partners With StoreDot For 5 Minute Charging

Daimler has unveiled its Fuso branded eCanter electric truck in Manhattan. Mitsubishi Fuso is part of the Daimler Truck Group, along with Freightliner and Mercedes-Benz. The eCanter electric light duty delivery truck has been under development for several years and will be manufactured in Tramagal, Portugal. It goes on sale in the US, Europe, and Japan starting later this year, according to a company press release
