I’ve had the fortune to review 3 (at this point in time) high-quality, easy-to-maneuver electric bicycles. I like all three. They are quite different, like the various electric cars are quite different — although, similar compared to tractor-like gas/diesel vehicles.
Gliding easily down the street with my backpack full of groceries, my e-bicycle from Jetson seemed safe enough. I was biking on a street with sparse traffic flow. The new Jetson Journey Electric Bike whizzed lightly and intuitively down the street on the edge of the slightly gentrifying neighborhood.
Yes, we know the title is a little grabby, but a two-month test ride of the Jetson Adventure electric bike (e-bike) has been, well, a nice adventure.
When I first saw the electric bicycle (e-bike) Jetson, I stopped to look again. Where is the obvious battery sticking out? Where is the obvious electric motor? Where is the obvious gearing system limiting these e-bikes to a handful of gears? What is this twelve speed bike doing here in the middle of the e-bike section?
