CleanTechnica Begins Jetson Electric Bicycle Review, Stay Tuned
When I first saw the electric bicycle (e-bike) Jetson, I stopped to look again. Where is the obvious battery sticking out? Where is the obvious electric motor? Where is the obvious gearing system limiting these e-bikes to a handful of gears? What is this twelve speed bike doing here in the middle of the e-bike section?
The Jetson Mission, The Electric Jetson Begins
Although we’ve been on a hiatus when it comes to this sector, the e-bike industry has plenty to cover. Amongst which is a prominent company called Jetson and its electric bicycle. “Jetson mission is simple — to provide the most extensive line of personal mobility products for all ages that are environmentally-friendly, convenient and affordable. We’re dedicated to bringing you innovative, well-designed products, excellent customer service, and unsurpassed value. ” After this lofty intro and seeing the e-bike, I was set to begin a test ride period, after having said farewell to the Gocycle G3. Stay tuned for the full review.
At first feel, the Jetson feels … well, like a regular bicycle. Although it looks like a regular 12 speed, the Jetson is relatively light with discreet shape. It takes a second to confirm it is an electric bicycle.
It seems like a great e-bike in this segment — hence my interest in trying it out. At first inspection, it offers a lot of bang for your buck. We’ll see if my mind changes after a couple of weeks with it.
Jetson is still fairly new and promises to offer an impressive range of electric mobility devices that, if the quality I’m experiencing from the Jetson e-bike is anything to gauge by, should make for a fun selection of devices.
In the meantime, check out the company’s social media presence on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
