Earlier this year, Tesla launched the third version of its Supercharging stations. While the basic functions of the V3 Superchargers are the same as previous generations, there are some subtle differences, so CleanTechnica hit the road to put the new stations to the test.

The first production Model 3 was confirmed to be for Ira Ehrenpreis, but he gifted the prized vehicle to Elon Musk earlier this month, leaving 29 of the first 30 vehicles to be delivered at the event.
