EasyCharge.me — Making Charging Easy (Fully Charged Video)

Need a charge? Just swing the arm of a LEVIAMP down from the ceiling and plug in your electric car. It seems so easy and logical, yet took till now for the invention to come to fruition. With the desire to create a nice-looking charging station that tucks away well, Artur Sychov, recently invented the device and founded EasyCharge.me.

Artur will be a presenter and panelist at our upcoming Cleantech Revolution Tour conference, but we also ran across a great “Fully Charged” video of what he has created that seemed worth a story itself.

How To Handle Trolls — Cleantech Communication Handbook Coming

Working in the cleantech communication business since the middle of 2009, I can say that I’ve picked up quite a few cleantech communication tips, and I try to sharpen them every day. Unfortunately, I’ve also seen a lot of examples of bad, bad, bad cleantech communication — communication flubs are quite abundant in this field. (And, yeah, I’ve been the person behind those bad examples from time to time.)

He claims it can go 400 miles on a full battery charge and then recharge in just 9 minutes. Fisker originally promised to reveal the car in August but moved the date forward by two months.

eMotorWerks Doubled Revenues For 3rd Consecutive Year In 2016

The electric vehicle smart grid charging technology firm eMotorWerks doubled its revenues for the third consecutive year in 2016, according to a recent press release. This expansion and revenue growth was partly the result of partnerships with companies such as AeroVironment, Webasto, and Nayax. The company’s growing customer base is reflected in the fact that the firm now has more than 18,000 charging stations installed around the world.

Tesla Won (… Sort Of)

I’ve had this article in mind for many months, set the draft up on March 17, and had it on my schedule to finally write on Saturday. Then, on Friday evening, Elon Musk basically made my point in a couple of tweets and “stole my thunder.” Alas — it’s actually his thunder anyway, and my words are just echoes.
