Bechtel, a leading engineering, procurement, construction, and project management company, recently announced the opening of a new office in Warsaw, Poland, to support the delivery of Poland’s first nuclear power plant, bringing clean, reliable, and carbon-free energy to the country. Earlier this year, Bechtel and Westinghouse solidified the project team to build the country’s first nuclear power plant.

Investing in Local Talent

“Building on Bechtel’s mission to build inspiring projects with extraordinary teams, we are excited to grow our team in  Poland,” said Ahmet Tokpinar, general manager of Bechtel’s nuclear power business line. “Developing a strong nuclear workforce will support and sustain Poland’s energy goals.”

Bechtel is looking for colleagues to join our new Warsaw Office. We are actively hiring engineers, and for roles in safety,  procurement, supply chain, project development controls, and finance. Committed to the Community

As plans for Poland’s first nuclear power plant continue to make progress, Bechtel will grow its presence in the local  area. Polish workers, as well as companies, both small and large, will play a significant role in the project. The company will continue engaging with suppliers in Poland to help launch a new era of clean and secure energy for the nation.

“Everywhere we operate, it is our goal to leave a positive legacy,” said Tokpinar. “[The] new Warsaw office represents new opportunities to engage with the local community, potential employees and suppliers, and to build lasting partnerships as we help Poland meet its nuclear needs.”

As a leader in the nuclear power industry, Bechtel offers technical expertise that no other contractor can match. Bechtel will share and build on experiences from past nuclear power projects and transfer this knowledge to the new team in  Poland.
