ENGIE Impact is being recognized for its dedication to corporate sustainability with two prestigious awards from ENERGY STAR and the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) … but this shouldn’t be too surprising, since the company has won ENERGY STAR’s Partner of the Year for Sustained Excellence Award for the past 17 years! (!!).

ENGIE Impact has been using ENERGY STAR products for years in its efforts to guide some of the world’s largest corporations toward their decarbonization goals. The company’s Manager of Energy & Water Advising, Matt Pittinger, emphasized that energy efficiency is a key factor in decarbonization; and that ENERGY STAR is an essential resource for many of ENGIE Impact’s clients. “Energy Efficiency is a foundational piece of decarbonization. It is often the most cost-effective option for our clients to achieve their goals and can significantly reduce the amount of renewable energy needing to be procured on their journey to Net Zero,” explains Matt Pittinger. “ENERGY STAR is an essential building block for many of our customers to determine their carbon footprint and is a tremendous resource with best-practice strategies for energy, carbon, and cost reduction.”

The Partner of the Year awards recognize the exceptional efforts of ENGIE Impact in helping its clients transition to more sustainable processes, and highlight the company’s outstanding contributions in the production, sale, and adoption of energy-efficient products, homes, buildings, services, and strategies. Along with other ENERGY STAR award winners, the company really are leaders in their respective industries and are vital to fighting the climate crisis, protecting public health, and creating a clean energy future for everyone.

“As we accelerate historic efforts to address climate change, public-private partnerships will be essential to realizing the scale of our ambition,” said EPA Administrator, Michael Regan. “I applaud this year’s ENERGY STAR award winners for working with EPA to deliver a clean energy future that saves American consumers and businesses money and creates jobs.”

ENGIE Impact has helped companies like Procter & Gamble, Netflix, Faurecia, and several other global Fortune 500 brands meet their environmental goals. In just the last six years, the company has helped its clients save nearly $1 billion by reducing their net energy usage, which is equivalent to reducing harmful GHG and carbon emissions equal to that of nearly 900,000 internal combustion-powered cars for a year.
