Canada, US, UK, & “Other Europe” Readers: Tell us what you think about Electric Vehicles!
July 20th, 2019 by Andrea Bertoli
Every year since 2016, CleanTechnica has published annual reports on electric vehicle drivers. These reports tell us what the world thinks about electric vehicles (EVs), which EVs they drive, what they expect to buy or lease as their next vehicles, charging experiences, what features they want in a vehicle, and more. We also ask related questions to non-EV drivers to better see the future market. We think it’s fascinating research!
Each year, we share the results with the CleanTechnica community after the full analysis is complete — via articles and with a full-length report available to researchers, industry, and corporate customers. This is your opportunity to participate in the 2019 survey.
We are currently running our biggest survey ever, and we need your help! With so many more people driving electric this year, we are particularly excited to see the results and see how they’ve changed over time.
These surveys are now closed! Thank you to those that participated!
We have two major corporate sponsors this year — EV battery giant CATL and EV charging leader Volta — which enables us to do a broad, random-sample, professionally conducted survey in the US to compare with our own EV driver surveys. Having these sponsors also enables us to collect more significant data from a handful of European countries — the Netherlands, Norway, France, Germany, and the UK. It will be quite fascinating to do thorough comparisons of EV drivers across these different countries.
The French, German, Norwegian, Dutch, and British EV market are actually each quite different, so we’re super curious to see how responses vary (see links for those surveys below).
If you drive an electric car (or more than one), we’d highly appreciate it if you could complete one or more of the following surveys (grouped by country) below! Anyone can take the survey, whether you have an EV or not.
If you are new to CleanTechnica or haven’t read every single article we’ve published in the past 6 months, you can stroll through the archives for our 2018 EV driver report to explore previous findings. (Though, if you are completing the 2019 survey, I have to request that you complete the survey first. Also, we encourage you to share with your EV friends!)
