SureFly Electric Helicopter … BMW i3 Nags Amongst Awesomeness … 20 Plug-In Hybrids (Top 20 CleanTechnica Stories of the Week)

January 8th, 2018 by

Tesla has long been seen as a rebel of the auto world, but it’s becoming a bit mainstream, no? I’m inspired to do a long piece on this … but not yet. But it just struck me rather starkly as I shockingly saw that no Tesla story was among the top 3 stories of the past week on CleanTechnica … or even the top 5! Or even the top 10! I can’t remember the last time that has happened, but it’s been a looooong time. It made me realize a bit how much Tesla has become an expected staple of the daily and weekly news.

It’s ironic, too, since I just highlighted at the end of 2017 that an eye-popping 23 of our top 30 stories of 2017 directly related to Tesla.

With all of that said, let’s get to the rebels of the past week that dethroned Tesla.
