1st Tesla Model 3 Delivery To Regular Customer (Detailed Walkthrough Video)
December 23rd, 2017 by Cynthia Shahan
In today’s world, one man’s experience is now another’s, and another’s. Here’s another glance into the EV that is a sign of the times. Remember those long lines to reserve a Model 3? Those weren’t employees in line — they got to reserve earlier in quiet. Those would become the first Model 3 owners who weren’t Tesla/SpaceX employees, huge investors, or close company friends. Now, those customers are starting to configure and receive their Tesla Model 3 orders.
Here it is — the Model 3.
This contented couple was reportedly the first “normal customer” to receive a Model 3. (That excludes a special advance delivery for a man with terminal cancer.)
Knowing that many people have been eagerly awaiting any info they can get on the 3, this duo was considerate more than happy to share a 10 minute video of their new car. They picked up their fresh Model 3 and shared the experience with all of us waiting on ours or waiting for a friend or family member to get one.
As the new owner exclaims under this first delivery walkthrough:
“Woohoo! Our Model 3 was delivered yesterday morning! Tesla let us know that we had the honour of being the very first regular customers to take delivery. My significant other and I are thrilled beyond belief, and we’re just blown away by the car and company. Folks on Reddit asked for a video, so here it is! With Model 3, Tesla has made a masterpiece. I still love the S and X, but the Model 3 is the car that just put every other car manufacturer on notice.
Thank you so much to Tesla and the man of the century, Elon Musk! Music from Jukedeck.”
What will your next car be?
CleanTechnica’s from EV drivers last year — made possible by the thousands of readers who completed a handful of surveys we created to dive deeper into the electric car market — found that a high percentage of them would get a Model 3 next. Many non-EV drivers, meanwhile, have been waiting for this precise model to go electric.
