We talked about the EV charging solutions at hand, the challenges, the way forward, and how we envision the next 1–17 years in the automotive/transport world.

With the next-generation Nissan LEAF, the Chevy Bolt, and the Tesla Model 3 all making fully electric transport more practical for many normal households, we are entering another phase of the electric vehicle revolution. However, electric cars still hold at their core a double-edged issue — they offer luxuriously convenient home charging for people who can charge at home … but keeping the cars conveniently charged if you don’t have home charging can be a challenge.
Cities are great for electric cars since most days typically involve only moderate driving, the quiet serenity of an electric drivetrain is a huge stress reliever in stop & go traffic, and electric cars can help you cut the debilitating air pollution that can horribly harm and even prematurely kill your family, friends, and coworkers. Naturally, all of this means that we need to roll out more charging solutions for urban needs — in large parking garages, on public streets, at shopping centers and workplaces. Hence the topic of this webinar.
