Electric Car Prices, Specs, & Other Details In One Spot
December 20th, 2015 by Zachary Shahan
On numerous occasions, I have wanted to know and share some specs or other info regarding production electric cars and EV batteries but had a hard time finding what I was looking for — either because it was buried on the manufacturer’s site, not on there at all and hard to find in any press releases or articles, or only speculated about or reported by a questionable source. So, I decided to put together a Google Sheet for various matters that are important to me for every electric car on the US market and many available in Europe*.
We have a lot of this information on this electric cars resource page and this electric cars resource page, but the Google Sheet makes it easier and faster to find particular information you are searching for.
The Google Sheet is not complete, as I couldn’t find some of the answers I needed to fill it out, and some items are based on informed speculation but not a definitive source. In particular, items in bold are things I’m not certain about, and I’d love it if any of you could confirm or correct those — right now, all of those items concern the EV battery cell and battery pack manufacturers.
If you have a correction, info not included in the sheet, or a suggestion for a new column, you can comment below this article or on the sheet itself. But please include a link/source to back up your claims.
Thank you to everyone who helps to improve this, and who shares it!
*I’m not including NEDC range or fuel economy ratings for various reasons, but one is basically to protest how absurd they are.
