cleantechnica-logo-niceFor the first time, CleanTechnica has broken 1 million pageviews in a single month — ironically, it happened in the shortest month of the year. We actually busted through the barrier at some point yesterday.

Of course, we want to send a big Thank You to you wonderful readers! I hope we can keep providing you with great cleantech stories so that you continue to learn, be inspired, and share this important content with your friends and family!

Also, I have to also give a big thanks to the rest of the Important Media network, which has helped us a ton in getting to where we’ve gotten!

I don't like paywalls. You don't like paywalls. Who likes paywalls? Here at CleanTechnica, we implemented a limited paywall for a while, but it always felt wrong — and it was always tough to decide what we should put behind there. In theory, your most exclusive and best content goes behind a paywall. But then fewer people read it!! So, we've decided to completely nix paywalls here at CleanTechnica. But...

Like other media companies, we need reader support! If you support us, please chip in a bit monthly to help our team write, edit, and publish 15 cleantech stories a day!

Thank you!

  • I’m curious, does this include reading articles in an RSS reader? I rarely (never) visit the site, but frequently read in Google Reader.

    • Actually, this doesn’t include RSS views. And that’s a pretty decent chunk of our readership. Thanks for the question — makes me realize we actually did go over 1 million in the past 😛 and we’re touching even more people than I was thinking when I wrote this last night.

  • Hey Zachary,
Congratulations!. Cleantechnica is an awe inspiring site. The collection of writers and contributors is excellent and the occasional appropriate soundtrack with your stories is an appreciated blessing.
Your success will continue and THANKS! for the great news about clean energy.

    • Thanks a ton! 😀 And that reminds me — I need to put a soundtrack with more posts! 😀 I get that idea from time to time, but then forget about it. Thanks for the reminder. 😀

  • Wow, congrats, that’s very impressive. This is a fully-fledged, serious business you’ve got going here, and one could say it’s certainly part of the cleantech industry. Well done to all involved.

    • Thanks. It actually is. (Though, it still primarily feels like hanging out at home and having fun with cleantech news — minus the ridiculous amount of time I have to spend going through emails :P.)

  • Great job Zach…. Your topics discussed are growing in popularity as we move towards the cleantech future…

    • Yes, can see a big difference today compared to when I started writing about this stuff on CleanTechnica nearly 4 years ago.

  • I occasionally put links to CT articles on GasBuddy news. It gets the good ole boys riled up sometimes.
