Tesla has unexpectedly dropped a “Mid Range” battery option into its Model 3 variants, officially the Tesla Model 3 Mid Range Rear-Wheel Drive, priced competitively and still offering great real-world driving range.
The additional good news is that this variant has expected delivery dates of 6–10 weeks, meaning that early signups should still receive the full US federal tax credit.

Tesla opened up its 14-day Enhanced Autopilot (EAP) trial for some Model 3 owners over the weekend and we were included in the update. We wanted to share our learnings from the first few days of using the solution around town and on the highway.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk took to Twitter again recently to share the first look at Tesla’s highly anticipated Full Self-Driving feature. The image shares a satellite map of the Bay Area behind a new options screen that shows off a few of the new Full Self-Driving options within Autopilot.
Tesla has released an updated version of its Autopilot solution — version 2018.21.9 — which adds new safety features as well as a handful of additional items that make the Autopilot solution more user friendly. For example, it slows you down when taking an offramp from the freeway.
