As you may have noticed, one of my favorite events of 2017 was the first annual rEVolution conference from EVBox. That’s where it was announced that Engie was acquiring EVBox, and there were also presentations from a host of electric vehicle leaders (including — shocker — yours truly).

He was also presenting in Paris recently for Autonomy, where I was again present to moderate some panel discussions.

One of the top presentations at EVBox’s first annual rEVolution conference earlier this year came from Thomas Raffeiner, CEO & Founder of The Mobility House.
In this presentation, Thomas highlighted a few projects used old EV batteries and helping to intelligently manage extreme as well as regular electricity needs in these locations. The Mobility House has partnered with Nissan, Renault, Daimler, and others for these projects. In my eyes, though, the most interesting project was with the Vatican. The presentation is worth a watch, so just get on it:

She gave a wonderful presentation on breaking down electric vehicle myths in Costa Rica, more broadly across Latin America, and even more broadly across the world.
