Though still nominally premier, Christy Clark knows her government’s days are numbered. If she doesn’t resign, the BC Liberals will be toppled by a non-confidence motion when the provincial legislature reassembles in June.
Andrew Weaver, whose Green party holds the balance of power, told reporters, “British Columbians were sold a bill of goods on LNG. It wasn’t going to happen then, it’s not going to happen now. … LNG is not happening, so let’s move on to the new economy.”
The largest cause of the city’s emissions is natural gas and so the BC Government attacks Vancouver’s attempt to limit emissions.
