What will likely become the world’s largest wind farm now has its first two turbines up. In total, 175 of the Siemens offshore wind turbines totaling 630 MW are to be installed by the end of 2012. That’s phase 1. After phase 2 is complete, the total power capacity of the wind farm will be 1,000 MW (or 1 GW). Can you guess where this giant project is?
