London Electric Vehicle Company May Already Have 2nd Overseas Market Lined Up For New Electric…

The London Electric Vehicle Company came to terms with interested parties in Amsterdam (Netherlands) a couple of months back to sell and deploy some 225 units of the company’s new extended-range electric cab — with the deal set to represent the first deployment outside of London of the new electric version of the city’s iconic black cabs. That deal will see the electric cabs deployed as a component in a service to transport disabled and/or elderly people.

The London Taxi Company’s all-electric taxi has been tested intensely and over thousands of miles in both hot and cold climate endurance tests in the Arizona desert and Arctic Circle. This week, the zero emissions taxi prototype took on another first. On Thursday, June 29, one of London Taxi Company (LTC)’s all-new range-extended electric taxi test vehicles silently made the world-famous Goodwood Hillclimb.

The UK’s first auto manufacturing plant dealing solely with range-extended electric vehicles was recently opened by the London Taxi Company in Ansty, Coventry.
