Want To Buy A New Car For Free In 10 Years? Buy An Electric Car Today

September 30th, 2018 | by Michael Barnard

The report is another data point showing that a family's total cost of ownership of electric cars is better than for gasoline or diesel vehicles. And with all of the other benefits — including health, much lower greenhouse gas emissions and typically greater safety — it's not hard to see that the shift to electric cars will only accelerate

The other savings he relates is certainly a major consideration as well — the sheer savings of EV maintenance compared to maintenance of an ICE car is remarkable. Beyond personal use, company car drivers could save thousands of pounds/dollars by going electric

Electric Car Savings Will Pay For Christmas & More

A New Go Ultra Low cost calculator finds that the typical 100% electric car in the UK could cost on average just 3p per mile to run. That is a notable bit of savings compared to 9p for the comparable diesel car. The first savings, in my experience, regard the smell, the lack of particulate exposure, and freedom from the filmy dirty feeling of gas in the car and in the air
