Though the model isn’t available to general consumers in the US, there actually are some BYD e6 electric vehicles being operated in the US. These are mostly being used as part of various fleet trials throughout the country.
The new electric car models hitting the market right now and in the coming year are a huge leap ahead of models that have been on the market for the past several years, but even without these new models, 1 million pure electric vehicles are now on roads worldwide! That’s according to new data from EV Volumes.
The Chinese market had more than 32,000 new electric cars zooming the streets in October, with the market up a mere 3% over the previous month, but still, up 46% over the same month last year.
The Chinese market had more than 31,000 new EVs zooming the streets in September, with the market remaining flat regarding the previous month, but it was still a 53% increase over the same month last year, below the annual growth rate of 84%. It is a bit like saying that Lionel Messi only scored the same two goals as in the previous game.
