As some of you know, a few friends and I launched a city-to-city “Tesla Shuttle” network in Europe a year and a half ago. At some point last year, one of those guys suggested, “Hey, why don’t we open up our platform for other Tesla owners around the world who would like to shuttle passengers on routes in their regions?” Hmm, why didn’t I think of that?

Tesla Shuttle From Sarasota To Tampa Airport — Like Dr. Who’s TARDIS #Infinite

I flew out of Tampa airport recently. To travel to Tampa from Sarasota, we chose zero-emissions transport. It was the longest experience I’ve had in a Tesla Model 3. Booking a shuttle service to the airport, I was not thinking futuristic travel. I was thinking of the time, convenience, and zero emissions. Yet, it seemed to feel the most futuristic of all my experiences in Tesla vehicles. (It was my second time in the back seat of the Model 3, and I’ve spent many times in the back seat of a Tesla Model S.)

Our local Tesla Shuttle arm in Poland has been operating for over a year. One of our co-founders, Tomek Gać, has also had a Nissan LEAF for years and he recently test drove the new Nissan LEAF and the Jaguar I-PACE. We decided to have a long chat about our experiences with the Tesla Model S, some of our experiences with Tesla Shuttle (which is now in operation in Europe and the USA), how the new Nissan LEAF & Jaguar I-PACE compare to Tesla vehicles, and how adequate they may be for “average people” — not just EV fanatics.
