6 years and 3 months ago my wife and I took delivery of our new long range, dual motor Tesla Model 3, on October 21, 2019, at the Salt Lake City Delivery and Service Center. At the time, I paid $6,000 for what was called Full Self Driving (FSD). I … [continued]
One argument Elon Musk and Tesla fans have made for ages — for about a decade — is that the extra costs of sensors like lidar and radar for self-driving vehicles are not worth it, are illogical, and will be the death of a company like Waymo. Just use cameras … [continued]

Mark Spohr writes: “How about: February 14 is the deadline California imposed on … [continued]
Tesla FSDS (Full Self Driving Supervised) is all over the media and Facebook in Australia. I was privileged to be part of a conversation about the similarities between FSDS and commercial flying on both Facebook and then continued by email. It is surprising that FSDS is being not just accepted … [continued]

However, it will still be offered as a subscription option. Tesla CEO Elon Musk made the announcement this morning. Why Valentine’s Day? … [continued]
