Earlier this week, I joined my friends Tom, Joy, Riz and Roland on Ludicrous Feed to discuss my recent test of the XPENG L03 with VLA 2.0 vs. the Tesla Model 3 with FSD and how the two vehicles and intelligent driving systems compare.
For those not familiar with Ludicrous Feed, Tom started the Australian YouTube channel back in January 2018 to discuss his Tesla Model S. At that time, mainstream EVs were relatively new, and the Model 3 and Y were not yet available in the country. The channel has evolved to cover a wide range of EVs, which are increasingly available in Australia. Our own David Waterworth has discussed a number of the new models that have become available. Australia really is going from “zero to hero” in terms of vehicle choices. The channel has also evolved to include co-hosts Riz and Roland, who provide unique perspectives on electric vehicles and the Australian EV market.
I met Tom and Joy in Guangzhou and Riz in Beijing. This was my second time on the show, after discussing CES in January. Beyond the Tesla vs. XPENG test, we also discussed some recent EV news.
When the discussing clean technology, there can be a surprising level of toxicity in the discourse. I have always found Ludicrous Feed to take an intelligent and level-headed approach to the topics. If you get a chance, check out our discussion.
