Former Tesla employee and occasional CleanTechnica writer David Havasi and I sat down today for a long discussion on the evolving US EV market and expectations for Tesla worldwide in 2025.

To start off, we talked a bit about how much the EV market has changed around us locally, and also how much things have not changed — with regard to annoying anti-EV talking points that have been around for a decade and don’t seem to be going away. After that, we dove into opening up of the Tesla Supercharger network and what that means; Tesla Cybertruck sales, production, and pricing; the Tesla Model Y “Juniper” refresh and the extremely popular model’s sales expectations for 2025; Tesla Model 3 sales expectations in 2025; and more!
