Last Updated on: 28th November 2024, 10:03 am

BYD’s growth and expansion into new country markets has been one of the top cleantech stories of the year. It seems to enter at least one new market each week. This week, news is that BYD is entering Guatemala.

BYD has just launched four models in the Central American country, the BYD Han, the BYD Tang, the BYD Song Plus DM-i, and the BYD Seal.

The brand was launched in Guatemala at the Auto Feria in Guatemala City with the help of its distribution partner in the country, Grupo Confiño.

BYD is now in the following Central and South American countries: Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, Costa Rica, and Panama.

For more on what BYD is doing in and to some of these markets, see:

Of course, BYD has also been entering a bunch of markets in Africa and Asia.
