BLK Auto is a specialist vehicle importer and distributor with more than six decades of experience and knowledge in specifying, engineering, complying, importing, and selling commercial vehicles in Australia and New Zealand.

BLK is the distributor for JAC vehicles in Australia and New Zealand. JAC is one of the top vehicle manufacturers in China. In 2020, Volkswagen Group became the majority stakeholder in the group. After initially launching the JAC N55EV truck at the Brisbane Truck Show in 2021, the JAC N55EV has undergone multiple trials in Australia and proven fit for purpose. In one of our more recent trials held with Tradelink Plumbing Rocklea, the business was inundated by flood water. Quick-thinking staff was able to load a lot of stock into the back of the truck and move it to an alternative location.

The JAC N55EV truck sales have surpassed over 10,000 units globally, with key customers such as DHL, PepsiCo, Coca Cola, Heineken, Nestle, and Unilever already buying the truck overseas. Logistics operators in Australia can now start their transition and achieve their carbon neutral targets. The truck has an average range of 200 km on a single charge and can be charged from zero to 100% in as little as 1½ hours. It is available with a tray back or Pantech body as well as a refrigerated body. There are four models in the range with a GVM of 4500, 5500, 7500, and 9000GVM. BLK Auto will be announcing a national network of dealers who will be supporting the rollout of these trucks as well as catering for any servicing and parts requirements. Orders are now being taken for the JAC N55EV truck.

This van has sliding doors on each side as well as rear barn doors making loading and unloading of goods easy. With a range of around 375 km on a single charge, this van is available as a general cargo van or BLK can provide the option of a refrigerated cargo van. The BLK Cargo Van will also be sold through a national network of dealers being put in place by BLK, which will provide a greater level of comfort from operators knowing they have a large established network of dealers who are there from a sales, service, and parts perspective.
