To all of our readers who live in multi-family properties (condos, apartments, duplexes, etc.), we’re sure many of you have appealed to your building owners and managers to install electric vehicle (EV) parking on the property. We get it! You’re in love with your EV, or considering purchasing one, and want the convenience and ease of charging while it’s parked where you live. Makes perfect sense to us.
Though, perhaps you’ve had pushback on the idea from your property manager or owner. We get that, too. Adding EV charging to multi-unit housing isn’t as straightforward as one might think, given the players involved, the approval process, installation, maintenance, etc. That’s why we’re hosting a webinar on February 24th on the obstacles and opportunities of EV charging at multi-family dwellings.
CleanTechnica’s CEO, Zachary Shahan, will host a conversation with John Karambelas, Chief Revenue Officer at EV Connect*, and Keith Gillan, President of Murn Properties.
If you’ve been thinking about discussing the topic (or have already) with your building owner or manager, consider sending them information for our event. We’ve even created a brief email template for you to share with them to pass on the webinar information:
“Hello, [Building Owner / Manager]!
As a [resident/tenant], I think electric vehicle (EV) charging would be a useful addition to our building. CleanTechnica (a trusted source in all things cleantech) is hosting a webinar discussing how to attract and retain residents and tenants with EV charging at multi-family properties as an amenity. The one-hour webinar will be held this coming Wednesday, February 24th at 12:00pm PST / 3:00pm EST. Click here to register: http://bit.ly/2M1b69Y
Thanks for considering!”
We hope they’ll join us on the EV bandwagon!
