(Jan. 4, 2021 – Phoenix, AZ) What a year 2020 turned out to be, with many of us more than eager to put it in the past. If we’ve learned anything from the COVID-19 pandemic, raging forest fires or the powerful and destructive hurricane season we endured last year, it’s be prepared.

In 2021, why not stock up on a necessity that’s often taken for granted: electricity. The next time you need power in a pinch for your RV or mobile home, or you want to go off the grid to save money on your electricity bill, you can produce electricity yourself using a mobile solar power generator (MSG) trailer. These solar power units can be towed by an average half-ton pickup or SUV and be set up by one person in less than 10 minutes.

Several hundred of these solar power units are up for bid in a nationwide online auction kicking off the new year. The trailers were designed and built by DC Solar, a solar energy company that produced a quality product but filed for bankruptcy after being accused of running a massive fraud scheme involving billions of dollars.

“It’s a shame because their product is excellent and really works,” said George Cunningham, BidIndustrial.com, LLC*, auctioneer and appraiser. “We’ve already sold more than 1,000 of these trailers, and we have several more still available.”

Online auctions are currently underway, with units up for bid right now at Atlanta Motor Speedway, Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and in Benicia, CA. Online auctions are also scheduled for Sacramento and Murrieta, CA, Palmer, TX, and more in Las Vegas, NV.

All MSGs have solar panels and batteries mounted on top of a car hauler trailer, but some configurations offer diesel backup generators and light towers. And when properly used and maintained, these solar power units can last up to 20 years or more.

“These mobile units really come in handy for construction work and disaster relief like powering up mobile medical clinics, and even just personal use at your cabin,” said Cunningham. “Now is your chance to grab one at a fraction of the cost to build.”

All auctions are conducted online and held in cooperation with Cunningham & Associates, Inc. “Our online bidding system is super easy to navigate, really making it convenient to bid from anywhere,” said Cunningham. Inspection of the units is highly recommended because sales are AS IS/WHERE IS, and of course always be sure to read the terms and conditions.
