The first batch of Tesla Model 3s have been spotted in the UK, being shipped from the port in Dover/Folkestone and heading towards London. First deliveries are scheduled to begin in the coming week.

Tesla Motors Club (TMC) forums user Tcxcadet managed to snap a photo of a transporter truck carrying Dual Motor Performance Tesla Model 3s on the M20 motorway, which connects the ports of Dover and Folkestone to London. Txcadet reported passing 2 such transporters, and similar photos have emerged from other sources:

The conversation thread in the above tweet as well as other threads on the TMC forums suggest that at least some UK folks who have ordered Tesla Model 3 P3D+ variants have a delivery date of Thursday, 20th June. The ones we see in the above photos may well be part of that first day of deliveries.
Meanwhile, one of the UK’s largest circulation newspapers, the Daily Express, has just published a very positive review of an early press Model 3, saying:
“I have driven every electric car currently available and the Model 3 is the one that has impressed me the most. Even more so than the Jaguar I-Pace and that is an exceptionally fine car. … I can see why the Tesla Model 3 is selling in such vast numbers.”
There’s no doubt that the Tesla Model 3 is going to be a huge hit in the UK. Are you one of the lucky ones with a UK delivery scheduled for later this month? Please share your experience in the comments.
