Arcimoto, the designer and manufacturer of the fully electric, three-wheeled, two-seater Fun Utility Vehicle, has rolled out the fully loaded ‘FUV Evergreen Edition’ that comes with all sorts of new goodies to truly blow the lid off the FUV experience.
The FUV Evergreen edition comes packed with options including heated seats and grips for those struggling with actual winter weather and Bluetooth speakers to amp up the energy on the trip. When the winter weather gives way to balmy summer weather, the removable doors and lockable rear storage let owners get out and take in nature in a completely new way.
We drove the FUV around Venice Beach, California back in 2016 and found the open cockpit to be liberating and contributed to the feeling of driving around town on a quad. It was as if someone took the open feeling of riding on a scooter or motorcycle and added just enough creature comforts to the mix to make it comfortable and safe.
The new edition of the FUV tips the financial scales at $19,900 and comes with the same 100+ mile range per charge and 75 mile per hour | 121 kilometers per hour top speed as the base FUV, but with more goodies included from the factory. As an electric vehicle, owners also get the benefits of electric vehicles including gas savings, special EV charging rates, available tax credits, and rebates, depending on what’s available in each area.
Customer deliveries of the new edition are scheduled for the spring as part of Arcimoto’s retail production ramp. “In 2007, we set out to build the world’s most affordable and efficient everyday electric vehicle that also happens to be insanely fun to drive. The FUV Evergreen Edition is the realization of that vision,” said Arcimoto Founder and President Mark Frohnmayer. “With the FUV, you save money on gas, time on parking, and your daily commute is transformed into a pure electric joyride.
