Tesla Referral Program Ending — How to Take Advantage of Benefits Before It’s Too Late
Previously, we told you how to add a referral code to your existing Tesla orders for 9 months of free Supercharging.
Then we showed you how to use a referral code on a new order.
This article confirms, based on what we have heard from readers, that both methods work. It’s also a reminder to update or place your order by February 1st, which is when the referral program ends. (Elon says it is ending for good, but nobody knows if he will change his mind.)
Already Ordered a Tesla, But Didn’t Use a Referral Code for Free Supercharging?
If you’ve already configured your Model 3 (or Model S or X), you can still add the code by sending an email to buildmy3EMEA@tesla.com with the word “Referral” in the subject line.
In the body of your email, include your name and contact information, the reservation number (starts with RN), and the referral code you’d like to use.

What are you waiting for? If you’re waiting for the $35,000 Model 3 (different in each country because of shipping and taxes) because you don’t need the range, I agree with you, but if you want the thrill of the all-wheel drive or performance models, order now while you can get 9 months of free Supercharging (6 months if you have test driven a Model 3, but very few in Europe have had the chance to do that).

Whether you have already ordered your car or are still on the fence, the Model 3 fits the needs of many European customers better than the larger cars, since in many places in Europe the roads are smaller. February 1st is the deadline to either email a referral code to Tesla or order your car. Don’t let this chance pass you by.
