Elon Musk Solicits Input For The Tesla Truck As It Gets Serious About Electric Pickup #ElonTweets

Elon Musk took to Twitter today to solicit input on the Tesla Truck. He shared that it will come standard with a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive setup that can deliver “crazy torque.” To further plod his way into pickup truck territory, he shared that Tesla will pair the powertrain with a suspension that dynamically adjusts for load, all in the standard package.

Albany Should Let Tesla Expand In New York (Op-Ed)

During the 2017-2018 New York State legislative session, which ended June 20, legislators were considering A8248A and its companion bill, S6600A. These bills would have allowed Tesla to expand from five to twenty stores in New York and did not require public spending. The bills had bipartisan support; forty-seven Assembly Members and twelve Senators were co-sponsors of the bills. The bills never came to a vote. This is a missed opportunity for New York and for the country.

Irvine Ranch Water District Adds Tesla Powerpacks, Estimates Annual Savings of $500,000

The Irvine Water District and Michelson Capital announced the completion of the nation’s largest behind-the-meter energy storage project at the Irvine Ranch Water District’s (IRWD) Michelson Water Recycling Plant. The new 2.5MW/15MWh installation is a part of a distributed network of 11 energy storage installations at the water district’s recycling and pumping facilities that together total 7MW/34MWh.
