EV Drivers & Wannabe EV Drivers — A Few Quick Questions For You
It’s time to update our research on what electric car drivers experience, want, and require in their electric vehicles (EVs). We also want to roll in the views of potential electric car drivers this time.
Last time we conducted this research, we got responses from over 2,000 EV drivers in 49 of 50 US states, 26 European countries, and 9 Canadian provinces. The data has been quite valuable for understanding this early stage of the EV market, and I can say that some top automakers did buy the report, which we hope is leading to better electric vehicle development and availability.
The information is also just super interesting info to gather and check out, and we publish it all on CleanTechnica for readers to enjoy.
If you would like to contribute to this year’s report, below are 8 different surveys to choose from. Most of you would just complete one of these surveys, or maybe two if you are a super EV leader and early adopter.
For EV drivers, there are 6 survey options, depending on type of EV and region. There are also two more surveys for non-EV drivers.
North America
- Tesla Drivers in North America
- Plug-In Hybrid EV Drivers in North America
- Non-Tesla, Pure EV Drivers in North America
- Non-EV Driver Survey in North America
Europe
- Tesla Drivers in Europe
- Non-Tesla, Pure EV Drivers in Europe
- Plug-In Hybrid EV Drivers in Europe
- Non-EV Driver Survey in Europe
This time around, the responses collected via the surveys above will be supplemented by broader, random sample surveys that should provide some insight into how the overall US population compares to EV drivers on a variety of EV-related topics. Stay tuned.
Also, please share the relevant surveys above with EV drivers you know, EV groups you frequent elsewhere on the web, and, well, everyone you know!
