Global EVRT Launching Longest Electric Vehicle Road Trip In Middle East From World Future Energy Summit 2018

Global EVRT’s second long-distance electric vehicle road trip in the Middle East will launch on January 18, 2018, from Abu Dhabi at the World Future Energy Summit, part of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week.

Global EVRT’s second long-distance electric vehicle road trip in the Middle East will launch on January 18, 2018, from Abu Dhabi at the World Future Energy Summit, part of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week and one of the world’s premier renewable energy conferences.

The road trip will run for 9 days across the UAE and Oman and will include the opening of new electric vehicle charging stations along the route, opening up new roads to electric vehicle owners. This will be the fifth electric vehicle road trip by Global EVRT, following three in Europe and one in the UAE in January of this year. The public can now register to join the adventure, which, as well as enjoying the breathtaking scenery of the two countries, will visit sustainability-focused site visits along the way.

As the launch partner for Electric Vehicle Road Trip Middle East, the World Future Energy Summit will host a brand new event, The Mobility Conference, in collaboration with CleanTechnica & Global EVRT. (Yes, CleanTechnica!) Within its three-day program, the event will showcase a variety of electric vehicles, and industry experts will take part in detailed discussions on the acceleration and adoption of electric vehicles for the creation of smart and sustainable societies.

Additional event partners include Volt, one of the UAE’s leaders in EV and sustainable energy infrastructure installation, and the Middle East’s Clean Energy Business Council. More partners can be found on the Global EVRT website, and more details and partners will be announced in due course.

“We are thrilled to be back in the Middle East, after successful electric vehicle road trips and e-Mobility conferences in the UAE and Europe earlier this year,” Ben Pullen, Managing Director of Global EVRT says.

“The rate at which electric vehicles are progressing in the Middle East, in the UAE especially, is very exciting, and we aim to expand and accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles even further through our events, aligning with the inspiring sustainability initiatives of the UAE government. After showcasing at the World Future Energy Summit 2017, we are very happy to now be launching our Electric Vehicle Road Trip Middle East from WFES 2018, to be alongside the key players in the energy industries from the UAE and across the world.”

Tickets to join the Electric Vehicle Road Trip Middle East, and to attend The Mobility Conference on January 18, will be available soon. To register your interest and be the first to receive more information, you can visit: www.globalevrt.com

I don't like paywalls. You don't like paywalls. Who likes paywalls? Here at CleanTechnica, we implemented a limited paywall for a while, but it always felt wrong — and it was always tough to decide what we should put behind there. In theory, your most exclusive and best content goes behind a paywall. But then fewer people read it! We just don't like paywalls, and so we've decided to ditch ours. Unfortunately, the media business is still a tough, cut-throat business with tiny margins. It's a never-ending Olympic challenge to stay above water or even perhaps — gasp — grow. So ...
